That Day

Last night we tried to see a movie called "That Day" in the 47th San Francisco Film Festival. The movie was playing at Pacific Film Archive in Berkeley at 8:50PM and we thought we could catch it if we went there an hour early and grabbed something to eat before the movie. I was supposed to pick my Mom up from the airport in San Jose around 5:40PM, take her to my aunt's, then pick up a friend and head for the movie theatre but my Mom's flight -from Los Angeles- arrived an hour late and I could not pick my friend up before 7:45. So we got to Berkeley at 8:55 and could not find the movie theatre right away. Naturally, we missed the movie and went to a very tiny student type of restaurant on Telegraph Ave. There, I ate a whole cheese-avocado-tomato crepe and a few bites of a spinach crepe. O what a day was That Day to this soul. Then we went back to San Jose and I was back home around 2AM. There are lots of good movies though in this festival, people still say.
